It literally does not matter what the truth was, they have created a very obvious decoy to implement fascist protocols to lock our country down and start taking control over everything from media to industry (what little there is.)

The people who want this are a minority in the US population, much smaller than even the 30% or so that lean right or voted for Trump, however they carry the most power because they are zealous, armed and united, they stand strong and steady with each other even if it’s out of sheer stupidity, they also know on some level that the “trans menace” is just a propaganda poster and they don’t care, they want Daddy to spank everyone and know that there is no such thing as “law” or “rights” in this kind of stage. There never was, the only thing keeping marginalized people safe has always been just a social contract.

Our social contract has eroded because most of the rest of the population has spent too much time desensitizing themselves by scrolling 16 hours a day, seeking comfort and escape and de-socializing from each other, abandoning not just community but abandoning interpersonal lives entirely, too scared to talk to the opposite sex, too scared to make friends, too scared to change habits.

The “active” left is still broadly too caught up hand-wringing, performatism, crying about Epstein files, and believing that “something is going to happen” by itself, that some charismatic, socialist leader is going to appear and lead everyone to a better world, or the most delusional here literally believe we’re going to have an armed revolution and somehow beat the military and the millions of armed conservatives, and somehow will still live next to them in peace after we win.

We’re utterly fucked.
