“Experts reject” carries no weight in today’s landscape. It does not rule out the experts who could approve, of which there always are.
Classic cherrypicking to support an agenda. This case, it’s because they don’t like the death penalty.

If it’s just “irrelevant paperwork,” then why do we have men do it and not women?
A laptop.
I dunno, for me it’s painfully obvious what the correct social media successors are.
Lemmy for reddit.
Friendica for facebook.
Pixelfed for instagram.
Mastodon for twitter.
Matrix for discord.
Peertube for youtube.
Good point. The “follower” mentality is still a foreign concept to me.
I don’t think I’ll ever be able to wrap my head around what goes through the average instagram user’s mind. I forget that a lot of them are eager to follow instead of lead.
No.
The distinction is important, and every useful idiot pivoting from one corporate platform to another should be educated on their mistake.
The problem is that we’re no longer discussing his original point. The goalposts have been moved.
If we’re talking specifically about pregnant women, then he should’ve said that so people understand that’s what he was referring to.
Trying to paint it as “all women” because sometimes some women are pregnant is disingenuous. It tells me that he’s avoiding telling the truth because it hurts his argument.
Don’t listen to this person.
He’s part of a culture that can’t tolerate people doing things differently from him.
So you’re actually referring to pregnant women? You could at least say that so you come across as genuine instead of trying to pull one over on me.
You could at least move to Pixelfed.
I doubt your instagram following is enough to make a difference from what you’d get on Pixelfed.
Hey man, you’re not alone.
I recently made a new email to get away from google and a matrix account to get away from discord. Anyone new I meet will get my matrix contact info. It will take time, but I’m in it for the long haul.
Matrix is the logical successor to discord.
We should focus on improving it instead of making something new from scratch.
Understanding why those platforms are bad is another layer of thought that most people aren’t capable or willing to engage in.
How do women have fewer rights than men in the US?
It’s my understanding that men have to sign up for the draft, but women don’t.
Abortion should be legal, but tying it to an amendment to make it seem like it’s protected by the constitution was always a lie that shouldn’t have gotten through.
This is America. Government is just another tool of our rulers to oppress us.
Look at how Musk conned Vegas with the hyperloop. No penalties, and nobody learned shit.
The only solution is revolution.
The hero who brought justice to that CEO was ahead of the game.
This shouldn’t have been censored, and it perfectly proves my point.
Transpeople get special treatment because they throw tantrums and browbeat others until they get their way.
It’s gotten so bad we’re not even allowed to say it.
Why does it matter if it’s impartial or not?
Lol.

Sure seems unfair to punish one sex for not filling out “irrelevant paperwork” and not the other. Almost like, in this instance, one sex has fewer rights than the other.
Someone clarified that pregnant women have fewer rights than men, which also means they have fewer rights than women who are not pregnant. Without getting into that discussion, I’d like to know how you think women who aren’t pregnant have fewer rights than men in the US.
