Imagine being told that you have to submit your facial scan to an unknown third party to prove that you’re old enough to pay to listen to something that’s being broadcast over the air for free.
0·2 months agoIf you have the lid closed, you’re looking at 3 to 15 watts to have a laptop running in the background doing some basic server shit.
Maybe a little more under high load, but those are going to be intermittent and not constant.
I’m just saying it’s not that much more electricity usage, and the recycling more than offsets the CO2.
Its fine.
Best advice I can give you is start where you are with what you have.
What you need will become apparent as you do.
