Prosecuted for what? I agree they should be removed from all positions and we shouldn’t cede Berkley any respect like we shouldn’t with Columbia University but prosecuting them requires laws to have been broken.

prosecuted for disclosing students and faculty information on what is free speech. No one is legally required to take a political position thats favorable to zionists or jews. Thats been the elephant in the room this whole time. In shipping that info they abetted in a legally unsanctioned activity.

            1. civil rights violations for impinging on protestor/employees right of free political speech which clearly do not violate any of the exceptions to free speech. The feds and berkeley admins would have to prove that holding a sign that supports palestinian civil rights, freedoms, and ending a violent conflict violates Title 6 of the civil rights act as antisemitism. I doubt the government will be able to pull that off, but its about time they tried it and got their arse kicked for it. It’ll be a nice precedent.
            2. Unreasonable search and seizure of their “papers, houses, persons, and effects” by the government.
            3. Shortly they will likely be a party to malicious prosecution and baseless retaliation, which will be tried in a California court, where they will absolutely win.

I wouldnt place any bets that they “violated no laws”.

    Harvard, Columbia, Princeton, and Berkeley.

Do you think they’re the same investigations at Liberty, Brigham Young, Grand Canyon, and Baylor?

All the conservatives who cried about snowflakes and safe spaces now have safe spaces for their snowflake politics.

UC Berkeley released the names of individuals and their “potential connection” to reports of alleged antisemitism

Why are we allowed to be anti-anything except antisemitic?

Why do Jews get special treatment over everyone else?

You can be anti-gay, anti-women, anti-black, but as soon as you’re antisemitic, then there’s a problem that the government needs to correct.

Israel does not represent jewish people, let alone semites, of which arabs also are.

Parroting that transparent ad hominem removes any credibility to your points. Willing to bow to bullying or actually believing it.

If you think this is actually about antisemitism, you’re crazy. It’s about attacking and weakening left leaning universities, which are seen as a real threat to MAGA (grads loyal to alma mater, lawyers, respected institutions, etc). Throwing a bone to fellow authoritarians like Netanyahu is a huge bonus.

It’s not just Berkeley, it’s the whole UC system. Berkeley just actually notified the students/staff about it

They’re already struggling because very few international students feel safe in the US now. Much of the research at the UCs is performed by international students.

at least for the state uni, it was before he got elected. last i heard the states uni put a bandage, by giving hs students early admission if they do x"classes to meet criteria". its a symptom of a larger problem in the long run, yea trump just added more insult to injury. and because of covid, early on people were pissed they dint even get a proper education from the universitiy.

If all our schools and businesses could not be direct extensions of the federal government that would be great.

You’re suggesting a system of anything less than fascism and that’s not going to work for this administration. Please report to the nearest ICE center for deportation.

“Genocide is acceptable if the population to be eliminated occupies land that the President covets, and wants to use to build luxury condos, hotels, resorts, and golf courses. Development is more important than poor people.”
