I don’t know man, there’s a depressingly large number of women who–due to low self esteem or related issues–embrace tons of this toxic masculinity shit because it makes them feel more valuable to the shitbags who spew it.
I personally don’t care for the phrase because it feels a bit misogynistic, but “pick-me girl” is a common word for it.
Their god has made them believe for centuries now that it is their place to serve their husband. Replublican men marry women who will vote how they tell her to because religiously, she’s nothing but chattel.
Easy to convince yourself those other women did something to deserve it and that would never happen to you because you’re better than them when there’s all sorts of voices in our society saying things along those lines
The psychology of Republican men is kind of obvious, but the women who want this are harder to understand.
