They died in vain. No gun law will change because of this.
I love how the mayor said, “we’re done with thoughts and prayers. These kids were literally praying when they were shot at”, or something to that effect. It should really highlight how nothing is being done about the lax firearm laws we have in this country. I don’t mind registering my firearms, getting licensed, demonstrating proficiency, and demonstrating adequate safe storage. I already do that because I’m not a dunce and I have small children.
Who was the shooter: A trans person
Was this an anti-Christian hate crime: Probably, and this should be the default assumption when anyone attacks a Church.
What should we do: gun control.
Many of these happen every single day. Very few actually make the news anymore. Nobody wants to hear this every single day. It’s depressing to know that the gun laws are so extremely bad, with zero competent mental health professionals able to assist the general public without major $$$.
I think this one is getting coverage because the shooter was trans. I have a feeling a marginalized group is about to be further vilified and lose more rights.
Oh what a wonderful country, so rich in everything, a pure pleasure to live in. Simply the greatest nation on the planet!
Unless you’re a kid, poor, female, pregnant, trans, gay, lesbian, non-religious, black, Hispanic, slightly tanned, disabled, have to work for a living, are in prison, need meds, have a slight deviation in what is allowed to think or just exist while not being at least two-digit-millionaire. But to everyone else it fucking rocks! The speartip of modern civilization!
Know what people in Gaza call this brutal, hateful act of killing children?
A Wednesday.
The US also calls this a Wednesday
As a European: Reading about a mass shooting in the US is also very much just a Tuesday.
well its not the guns that are the problem. its the schools. with a Trump school there would be no shootings. joke
