I don’t like it.
See you in a month when you pop up again to shill your shovelware some more.
This seems deliberately bad. It kind of reminds me of those games designed to prove a point about Steam or something “HAHA Nobody saw the trick I was playing on them. I made this game in 20 minutes and thousands of people wishlisted it.” That sort of thing? I could be wrong though. Just feels like it’s something along those lines.
I don’t think anyone puts this much work into something to make it “deliberately bad”.
But when I first saw it, I couldn’t believe it was actually a thing. The mix of things you do in this don’t make sense to me. In what world would I think being a “toll booth operator” involve selling dodgy drinks to people?
Maybe the reveal will be that it was made entirely with AI? Shenanigans vibes for sure…
So you quit your job to make cheap asset flips?
To each her own, and your decision isn’t putting me in financial jeopardy, so carry on.
But all this seems really derivative. You sure this is worth going all-in on?
✅ Has fishing.
Better get your day job back
I don’t understand what a lot of those activities have to do with toll booths
The drinking animation needs a lot of work, or just skip it and have it be instantaneous with a gulp sound
The woman’s head getting bigger from the drink is bizarre and disturbing
The woman spewing liquid out from her mouth doesn’t look great
Looks like trash lol. You straight up stole a bunch of shit from Schedule I. Is all the other stuff just copied from other games you’ve seen as well?
There seems to be lots of scope creep. Fist fights, romance, fishing, gardening, farming… Papers Please did great without all that, and in 2D with simple but well-directed art.
May I ask why you went with a different developer name from your previous game?
More, Mu6ariz (step forward for M6riz).
Also with the game here clicking on dev/publisher info goes to a curator page (where the game doesn’t even seem to show aside from the name/thumbnail), so that’s probably how they can easily create/rename (not saying intent, but certainly doesn’t help with shovelware vibe).
If it looks like assetflip shovelware and the reviews say it’s shovelware then it’s probably …
It’s using the same back end engine as schedule 1 (which is legit).
Sceptical that this is the third time I’ve seen this advertised here
Thanks for posting, it would be great if you could publish it on GOG as well! 🩵
