So back during COVID when restaurants comllained, that was enough pressure to justify jeopardizing the entire health of the planet to allow them to re-open. I was told that economic activity was worth the death and destruction and suffering.

So that means these same people are going to be calling for an end to this military iccupation, right?

The fact that restaurants were that much busier before all this directly contradicts any claims of rampant crime necessitating a federal takeover. People aren’t out spending DC restaurant levels of money if they might get shot or disappeared, but before they were just fine doing so.

I lived in the DC area for 30 years and Downtown is amazing, you gotta know how not to make a victim of yourself, but that’s standard in any 24hour city. There is literally historic low crime this year. He’s just trying to soft pedal Martial law, it’s terrifying that Congress has completely abdicated power to these monsters.

It shows that people are more afraid of the police/national guard/ICE than they are of crime. Exactly what Trump wants.

This is where Trump finds out the real reason that he couldn’t get a reservation at any of the DC area restruants.
