    He seemed immortal, even with all his health woes

    Going off memory from over a decade ago, but I think they literally studied why Ozzy was still alive back then.

    He basically won the rockstar genetic lottery and had just a whole host of random mutations that mitigated the effects or at least the negative effects of a lot of drugs.

    Stuff like lacking certain liver enzymes so opioids would barely produce an effect, and being really efficient at metabolizing alcohol.

    I remember going to an ozzfest 20 years ago because “Ozzy might not make it to the next one”. Dude made it to 76, it’s kind of hard to be sad about this one. He legit led a full life.

        Sure, but death is just part of life.
        They organized a concert to honour him just a couple weeks ago. It had a lineup of only the most epic rockbands. All there to honour his name. And he was there too, enjoying his life’s work to the fullest.
        How could you wish for a better ending for such a man?
