Hmmm I mean there is a bit of a rise in right-wing populist movements across Europe but not sure it’s quite trumpian yet. No masked Gestapo bundling people into vans and concentration camps, mainly hotels… AFAIK
If a second liberal democracy were to fall to political interference and fascism, would it surprise so very much if it was the UK next in line? I think Brexit, the lead up, and the fall out demonstrate that it is on shaky ground. In the twisted name of sovereignty I think they would sacrifice democracy with the right incentives and manipulation.
