This could be l due to sleep apnoea. I was tired all the time, taking daily naps and still utterly exhausted. Got a CPAP machine and I feel like a new man.

Could be, but it’s probably something to do with thyroid. It’s the most likely cause now! That and the night sweats.

Honestly, yeah. The first two are probably needing water.

The third is the engrained culture of isolation forced on us by the classist regime to ensure we’re too alienated to band together for the common good.

There’s this (agreed), but there’s also that feeling of socializing in a big group versus two or three people. They don’t even feel like remotely the same thing to me. Like the former does not feel “social” at all.

But yeah, there are also many real obstacles to making real connections, even when you do find a group you should gel with.

Actually, this is a bit out of left field, but I’ve started taking my friends on walks through graveyards for a little “memento mori” quality friendship time. It’s very chill vibes, and you can look at all the stones and think about what the dead people’s lives must have been like, how old they were; how many more years you’d have left if you died when they did, etc.

It’s not quite a true “third place” because you’re unlikely to meet new people there (unless you’re a vampire slayer), but it’s free and quiet and open to the public.

I used to live near this beautiful wooded graveyard in my youth and it was the go to place for my misanthropic circle. Honestly there are very few places I’ve found as relaxing.
