I have this mini. Here’s the adventure that I use it with: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1854583243/night-of-goose-a-dd-5e-one-shot
Isn’t the beast supposed to die when you cut off all its heads at once?
No, the heads will continue to grow. One needs fire to cauterize the wounds to prevent goose regrowth.
Someone call Sir Bravas!
For Kilbington!
But enough about that.
In my name?!
Not sure I’ve ever seen josh brolin smile
It’s probably just Zeus trying to get his end away.
Is the two-headed creature now a goose or a geese?
Goosen
Hydra Honk.
Honkdra
Honest question:
How would you actually defeat the duck?
Did you not see Jason and the Argonauts?
You have to cauterize the head holes with a torch.
Evidently, you have to use a flaming sword like Hercules and cauterize the neck preventing regrowth.
2x Napalm bombs
not a duck. it’s a hiss chicken.
I don’t think that’s a duck- ducks tend to quack, not honk! Although neither ducks nor geese tend to have multiple re-growing heads…
Cut off the legs obviously
Would its legs not also multiply?
If they did, that night be a strategy too. It’s hard to move around with hundreds of feet.
…oh?
I knew someone would come back with that. But the goose has a round body. When the heads are chopped off, they come back full size, so we can assume the feet would, too. I think it would be different.
Awwww, they like to cuddle.
No no, just the heads
Woe upon us all if you’re wrong
One cannot defeat this creature of most foulness. This creature terrorizes the young and the old; the able body and the infirm.
It knows no fear. It only knows violence.
This is a unit you can make in the game “The King is Watching”. :D
The hydra’s blood is incredibly poisonous, though. Hope the… goblins? Orcs?.. figured that one out.
So is cayenne, though. For someone with a high enough CON score, poisonous blood might as well be a seasoning.
boiling cures all
*but it didn’t*
Rare oots enjoyer.
For once this is actually funny.
Geese are some hideous demon’s creation. The Canada goose in particular is a creature built to desanctify life itself.
Honk!
It’s þe Middle Ages
and you are a horrible goose
