This is the issue with politics becoming so polarized. People are choosing their team over reality. Republicans (mostly) are choosing party and power over morality.

This is one time “both sides” are valid. A shit ton of lifelong dem voters were fine when Biden was doing the genocide, and changed minds as soon as it was trump. They were/are blindly supporting their team.

I’ve said since Biden was still in office: he has no line, he will let Israel do anything it wants.

trump is fine with horrible shit from anyone if he feels he’s getting something. It’s why Bibi supporting trump never made any sense. He gains nothing because there was nothing Biden/Kamala wouldnt let him do.

Support for Israel isn’t popular among either parties voters, but it’s popular with the vast majority of elected politicians from both parties.

This isn’t the only item of policy like that the majority of the progressive platform is that stuff: things voters want but politicians are bribed to never let happen
