Then build some libraries/frameworks?
Not on Graphene, but on Lineage i keep my devices around 7 - 8 years. Then they are too behind to care for a cracked screen.
Inventing a new internet.
I’m going with how police work currently in the US as a baseline.
Bad idea.
deep access to thousands or maybe even millions of people’s devices depending on ho w broadly police decide to deploy it
Maybe read the article before you post?
I get it, germans have tried to get Bundestrojaner through again and again, only to have explained why it’s a bad idea. But still, it’s not about mass surveillance.
Not tooth paste, everything else does, even peanut butter (for a while). For what’s best, there’s 2025’ rankings online, look there. But consider ease of use too (liquid metal are worst there) and if it is half a degree worth for you.

On Samsung phones, first bloat is Samsung software, Google is second priority.
I use Auto Tab Discard, have all except 10 tabs unloaded and FF has 5.5 GB reserved, just in case.
Which puts Bash in POSIX compliance mode.
So it is a bash thing.
Just to be clear, because some seem to conflate Bash with Shell. If not specified, assume POSIX shell, that’s how /bin/sh is handled as well. And that has no |&
.
This is a Bash thing?
Sounds like a project to me!
And so are other derivatives. No cardoard either.
Windows isn’t immutable either. And i had a lot of issues with Kinoite. Some flatpaks need workarounds, everything starts only after a second, can’t really remove that one annoying software and too much rpm-ostree installs slows updates to a crawl, etc. Then you look into Universalblue’s build-your-custom-image and see the bazillion steps and dependencies and walk away.
Now i look into plain Fedora old as a Windows 10 alternative for my mom.
I think the point is to show off that you don’t really need Javascript for the things it’s often abused.
I mean, on F-Droid and Linux are plenty of icon sets. SVG too.
Slightly related: there’s things like SDL_gui, which build directly on SDL2. But SDL is a library to interface media, kinda an abstraction. How… does that work?
I know already about immediate vs. retained mode and that toolkits like Dear ImGui are more barebones (and often used in games), while kits like Qt/Slint have a Model/View pattern, have a data handling and/or messaging system.
But above just doesn’t fit.
Edit: apparently SDL handles draw calls too?
Plus adressing is not only gmail but part of the E-Mail standard btw.
